Ukhrul: Over 5000 delegates of the Tangkhul Baptist Churches congregation attended the triennial fellowship to renew the Christian fellowship with ChristThe triennial fellowship held every after three years on a rotational basis where the Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association (TBCA), in their continuous effort strengthens Christians through praising and worship to further enhance the spiritual growth of the Tangkhul Baptist community.
According to a statement of TBCA Church coordinator VL Son, over 5000 delegates of 75 TBCA Churches participated in the five days fellowship held from April 5 to 9 at Phalee Ngarumphung Baptist Church, Ukhrul.
Executive secretary TBCA, Dr Rev Mathotmi in his theme “Upright” stressed on the firm foundation of Christianity.
Ningreichon Lungleng, Ramkhaning Tungshang and Taimaya Ragui gave the daily spiritual message.
The event displayed myriad exhibition of talent from different TBCA Churches.
MLA Alfred Arthur Kangam and Khashim Vashum attended the third and fourth day of the event, and joined in the worship and praising programme of TBCA triennial fellowship.
35 Churches under TBCA also took part in the choral competition. Triennial fellowship was hosted by Phalee Ngarumphung Baptist Church, Lungchong Maiphai block, Ukhrul, reports our correspondent.
