Archbishop of Goa & Daman Filipe Neri Ferrao extends Easter greetings

Mar 31 (UNI) Archbishop of Goa and Daman Filipe Neri Ferrao on Saturday
greeted people of the state on the eve of Easter.
In a message here, he said, ''To all who celebrate the Feast of Easter and to every person of goodwill, I am pleased to convey my warm greetings and prayerful wishes for God’s abundant blessings and every good gift.''
''Easter celebrates the rising of Jesus from death to a new life, reminding us that Light conquers darkness, Love conquers hatred and Truth conquers defeat. As one more feast of Easter comes by, I pray that all of us, living in this beautiful State of Goa, may join together in building a new society, wherein the interests of others will reign above our own interests. May we be challenged to be genuine agents of peace, understanding and goodwill,'' he said.
''A joyful and grace-filled Easter to one and all,'' he added.
